NOTICES AND PROCEDURE FOR MAKING CLAIMS OF COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT

Our policy is to comply with all intellectual property laws (that means patent and copyright; no other so-called "intellectual property" is currently recognized under U.S. law) and media licensing, and to act expeditiously upon receiving any notice of claimed infringement or breach. If you believe that your work has been reproduced on this website in a manner that constitutes copyright infringement or breach of license, please provide a notice of copyright infringement or license breach containing all of the following information: 

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner for the purposes of the complaint.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; such as a screen-shot.
  3. Identification of the material on our website that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity; there's that screen-shot thingy again, eh?.
  4. The address, telephone number or e-mail address of the complaining party.
  5. A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice of copyright infringement is accurate, and that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the right that is allegedly infringed.

Pursuant to Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c)(2), notifications of claimed copyright infringement should be sent to Service Provider's Designated Agent. ALL INQUIRIES NOT RELEVANT TO THE ABOVE PROCEDURE WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.

If SLinfoDex.com receives such a claim, SLinfoDex.come reserves the right to refuse or delete the infringing content or to terminate a member's account.

After receiving an infringement claim, SLinfoDex.come will investigate and take appropriate actions under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA) and any other applicable laws.

The DMCA provides for counter-notification if a member feels he or she is being wrongly accused of copyright infringement. A written counter-notification letter must be sent to SLinfoDex.com and must include the following information:

  1. identification of Content that has been removed or disabled by SLinfoDex.com
  2. name, address, telephone number, and email address of the account holder making the counter-claim.
  3. a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court (i) in the judicial district where the account holder's address is located if the address is in the United States, or (ii) in the United States Courts for the District of Colorado (where SLinfoDex.com does business) if the members's address is located outside the United States. (17 U.S.C. � 512(g)(3))
  4. inclusion of the following statement:
    "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the item identified above was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or the misidentification and is not infringing on copyright."
  5. physical signature of the member (may be in an electronic format such as a scanned document)

After receiving a counter-notification, SLinfoDex.com will take appropriate actions under the DMCA and any other applicable laws.

In cases where the parties cannot come to agreement on the copyright infringement claim, Virtuatrade will take action as deemed appropriate by the courts.
